Down the rabbit hole: "Haha, you look like you're not wearing clothes underneath. Is that your concept?" - Christine, on my blazer

"Haha, you look like you're not wearing clothes underneath. Is that your concept?" - Christine, on my blazer

As good days go, today was downright peachy. Sleep didn't go so well, my body clock kept trying to wake me for at 5-6am, guess it didn't get the memo that I wasn't going in today. Anyways, I went down to SMU to pick up my macbook, which I'm typing on right now. I have to say, for all the fan-girling I sometimes hear, it's not THAT good. It's not bad, sure. But do I still love windows? Yes, very very much so.
Anyways, I head down to SMU to pick up my mac and accompany Man Ting while she gets her laptop set-up. Blah blah, pretty normal stuff. And then I have to leave and I meet Bel at Chinatown.

Chinatown was pretty awesome. The usual gawking at animal penises and edging out of shops backwards while sales staff give us the evil eye when they realise we aren't tourists.
Shopping in chinatown was surprisingly fruitful. Obviously you have to side-step mountains of souvenirs and tacky "local craft" crap but some shops have decent stuff on the cheap. We both bought a maxi dress each. And you will weep when you hear what a bargain they were.

Anyways, we decided to go get a foot and shoulder massage on a whim, I am officially addicted. Foot reflexology is awesome, some parts hurt quite intensely but the payoff was worth it. We paid for 45 minutes but by the end we were wishing we had gotten the 60 minute one. I am telling you, everyone who sits works at a desk for more than 5 hours a day needs to go to Chinatown and get a shoulder massage. It hurts like a bitch and you will feel like crying, but after the suffering is over, you will feel like Buffy when she was brought back from the dead the second time, minus the blind panic, the crying and clawing at her coffin, and more the I AM BACK FROM THE DEAD, BUT I AM NOT A ZOMBIE.

Anyways, afterwards I met Christine at the airport. Yes, I once again went into creepy fangirl mode but IDAF, maybe in ten years I will look back and cringe and my current choice activity, but right now I'm just extremely pleased and happy that I got to see After School.
Anyways, I met Christine and we went to the usual belt and waited. Chatted a little to the F.Cuz fangirls sitting beside us. We were a little surprised that like 80% of the people there were actually there for F.Cuz and NOT After School. A little bizarre since After School is significantly more popular than F.Cuz in Korea, but hey, I guess that shouldn't speak for their popularity here.
Before AS came out, I was completely focused on spotting Gahee, Jungah, Juyeon, Nana and Bekah(and a little of UEE if I had time) but as usual, the minute they step out, everything is a blur and all I remember is screaming "OMG GAHEE UNNIEEEEE!~~~" and how unbelievably gorgeous she was. And then I saw UEE who was looking a little dazed but happy, Bekah who was smiling REALLY excitedly and filming/snapping pictures of the fans, cute Nana who was holding another member's hand, but for some reason I COMPLETELY failed to see who it was.

The good thing about going on these things with the same person is that you already have a set routine on what to do next, so as usual we ran out to watch them board and wave them off. And weirdly enough, BARELY ANYONE ELSE RAN. I guess they were mostly F.Cuz fans but whatever, it was to our advantage because it meant that we could squeeze RIGHT UP TO THE FRONT. AND LOL, we were hugging each other screaming "UNNIE!!" "GAHEE UNNIE" I don't know why we didn't scream for any of our other biases but you know how you lose your head during moments like these. Anyways, the van door kept opening and closing and Raina was the one who was in direct view, so we called out to her a little and she smiled and was lovely. Caught sight of Lizzie too, but I didn't really bother.
Gosh, the AS girls are really lovely in RL. They have legs up till their mouths and their skin is fantastic. They are just so gorgeous and sweet and if I could, I really would go for Sundown just to see them. But sadly, I just cannot fathom spending that amount of money watching them perform 3 songs and having to sit through so many other acts I don't care about. I really hope my girls will come back again, because I'm really kicking myself and not seeing Jungah or Juyeon.

Today was really lovely, and I have no work tomorrow so I can finally sleep past 10am for the first time in weeks. Here's to hoping for another great day and Christine, we'll have yogurt soon!
