Dora: Can you please blog about your life and not about your korean pretty boys?
Me: *full of conviction* I do blog about my life. K-pop is my life now.
Dora: *sounding pained* ...I can't be part of that life... It's STRANGE.
Well I guess some people are adjusting to certain changes better than others huh, but I did promise I would try to keep this K-pop thing buried within the deep recesses of my mind(unless I'm with other people with similar interests) so here's to trying. Also, I've lost count of the number of times I've heard "I stopped reading your blog ever since you started only talking about K-pop!" so power to the people, You Win.
So hey I survived my Prelim One, thanks to everyone I studied with during the hols from saving it from being a complete disaster. I've been falling asleep on the floor - a rather uncomfortable and awkward habit I've developed along with not remembering my dreams, how tragic. NO MORE NIGHTLY DBSK DREAMS FOR ME
These past two weeks have been interesting enough, one case of Mistaken Identity, one run-in with a certain person who is certainly more bitchy and relentlessly childish than befits her age, interesting revelations all around and sex and espionage. No I jest, unless by espionage you mean Valerie secretly checking out the fore-arms of Certain People and by sex you mean me boring into Jaejoong/Yunho's face with my eyes.
Did I mention I nearly stepped on a snake? It was the single most frightening incident of the day,(being yesterday) it was about 10pm outside United Square and Sara and I were talking on the overhead bridge about Idon'tknowwhat, but it must have been exciting because I was hopping(according to S, I contest this point however, because I simply do no Hop, it upsets my manly pride). Well we got down on the otherside(as people who cross bridges are wont to do, GAWD BERNADETTE WHAT DO YOU SAY SUCH REDUNDANT THINGS!?!?!) and Sara turns to me and says calmly, "Hey, are you scared of snakes?"
"Yeah, fucking scared. Why?"
"Oh, because you nearly stepped onto a snake on the bridge." To which I SCREAM and begin freaking out and clinging onto her arm, and instead of comforting me(she did la, just not to well) she scares me repeatedly by going "OH MY GOSH A SNAKE!" and pointing at various things, so by the end of the night I screamed at 1)My shadow 2)A puppy and 3)Air.
I have this really strong urge to bake cupcakes and reading all my Salinger novels and go for a haircut, but real life calls, aish. OH YAH. HEI EVERYBUHDEE, LET'S GO EAT ICE CREAM NEXT WEEK. I dub next week ice-cream week and to commemorate it, I shall have a scoop daily. Yum.
This reminds me of the time I proclaimed a day to be "Give Bernadette Candy" Day, and people actually brought candy and chocolate to school for me. Why are people so kind "so happy and loving"(HAHAHAH, CHEYENNE I'M MOCKING YOUR DRUNK BLOGGING FROM A FEW YEARS BACK. Yes I DO have to say it out explicitly, mostly because I don't think you'd catch it otherwise T_T)
