Today was an 8 on the Fuck My Life scale. My morning was completely ruined by this terrible nightmare that was all too real. I know its a little silly to be affected by a dream seeing how its not an actual experience, just a sequence of imaginary and often unrealistic events but that doesn't nullify the emotions experienced during a dream.(or in my case a Complete Nightmare) I'm sure lots of other people have woken up crying before(not that I did last night, just saying) and I doubt they would appreciate the sentiment that their sadness was fake just because it was elicited by an intangible 'experience'. Wow am I long-winded. Anyway the point is that I had the most AWFUL dream any fangirl can have, I was completed Devastated, I'll refrain from documenting the actual contents because it took me all day to forget it and it took alot of Taemin therapy and constant ranting to make it all go away. It really ruined my morning, I woke up from what I thought was a 5 minute power nap to find that it was exactly 6am(MY GP WORK WAS UNDONE. I was going to do it the night before) and feeling absolutely fucked up, and to all the curious people who inquired as to why my hair was so completely shit today, its because I felt so horrible and upset so I just didn't feel like having hair on my face.
Eh, anyway the above was written yesterday but I never got around to hitting the publish button. Nothing consequential to add except for this video of Wondergirls performing a cover of Kissing You. Isn't it strange how the original makes me feel like regurgitating forcefully over any surface in near proximity but the cover makes me go 'Aww, WG, WHY SO CUTE?' Seriously I wish SM would get the hint and just scrap SNSD, isn't it embarrassing to keep shoving those talentless, pedo-bait, semi-pretty girls down everyones throat when the only people who care are brainless pre-pubescent girls and sexually deprived older men? Anyway, WG's cover of Kissing You actually makes this song rather tolerable and even though the lollipops still annoy me, it actually comes off as kind of fitting.
As part of their collaboration, SNSD covered Wondergirl's 'Tell Me' and lets just say they completely butchered the song. Just shows how talentless they are. Dumb move really, they're just shooting themselves in the foot by performing their rival's song and coming up COMPLETELY SHORT while WG totally outperformed them at their own song.
(Haha, I feel like I'm typing in Christine's blog with all this K-pop stuff)
*Edit
I really didn't want to post this video up at first because I don't want SNSD videos on my blog but I REALLY have to post this. This is the 'Tell Me' cover I was referring to,see how bad it is? I never thought it was a particularly vocally challenging song or whatever, but it seems as if it actually is because SNSD struggle throughout the song and it just sounds so bad. Did they even practice?
